Mushroom & Snail Photography

For those who are interested in mushroom photography, you are at the right place.   Where are the wild mushrooms?  They are often at the base of a tree, hidden underneath fallen leaves on a damp forest floor.

There are many places to go to find wild mushrooms,  but you may not want to go alone.  What if there is no mushroom found? What else can you do while you are there? How about photographing snails as an option? All it take for an amazing mushroom / snail photo is about the right angle, the prefect composition and good lighting. Where are the snails? No worry, we will bring along our snail pets too.  With us, you won’t come back empty-handed.

Being able to turn an ordinary features such as the tiny mushroom and snail into stunning beautiful photo image is always fascinating to many of us.  In this workshop, we will go to explore the forest floor and to let our camera do the magic for us.

We can show you how we do mushroom photography.  This part is not difficult to many people depending on what you are looking for.  However, adding magic into mushroom photo does require continuously practice with the right techniques and gear.  Having us to share with you how we shoot mushrooms can save you a lot of time through the learning process.

Our Objectives:
  • mushroom hunting together in the woods
  • provide hands on knowledge and photo shooting experience
  • demonstrate good onsite composition techniques
  • capture natural light from different angles
  • play with colour and light on the subjects
  • take your photos while having us on the side guiding you
  • submit your field trip images for photo critique
