Mushroom Searching Continues – Found a Little Brown Mushroom

Mushroom

It is closer to the end of May. Now, after a month of searching for mushrooms, I can conclude saying that May is still a bit early for mushroom hunting. Took me a while just to find a tiny mushroom. By the time I got to it, the prime time lighting inside the forest floor had vanished. I could not do much with it. Not much site composition needed. Did add flashlight to brighten the mushroom enough for a few photos.

Mushroom Type: Aldercaps (Genus Naucoria)
The tiny mushroom cap and the stipe are yellowish brown. Not too noticeable. Not the ideal type for mushroom photography.

Will continue searching next week.
